Re: 885 case david brown hydralics

The cheapest & fastest way is to have one made local, also if you have a local CASE-IH Dealer they may be able to bench test your Valve Chest,

Re: 885 case david brown hydralics

When you installed the replacement Valve Chest did you set the gap between the Abutment Plate & the Main Spool Valve, also the TCU Valve & adjustment screw has to be reset, you need a special tool to do these settings,

Re: Need a engine Breather filter

Which item do you need?
K907108 is the Cover, K907110 is the Element (Filter) If it's the element, i wouldn't worry about it, the Engine will breath better without it,

Re: DB 880A PTO lever and noise

I pulled the top link unit and took a look at the PTO gears. The 540 side of the 13/19t sliding gear is chewed up pretty bad. The 1000 side is OK. Re: 996 won't engage 2nd gear

If it's the Syncro that's causing the problem you may find the six (6) wear pads in the bottom of the Transmission, drain the Trans/Hyd fluid then remove the Filter & Gauze they may be in the pan, if not just fish around with your hand, the wear pads are made of Brass,
