hi eric,in years gone by the hillman imp,chrysler ,simca,and ferguson used aluminium to build engines because it is easier to cast,imagine a motor bike with a cast iron engine it would weigh a ton that is one reason why mr brown and mr feguson fell out,aluminium heats up quick and causes condensatio...

i think you may see milky oil from the large amounts of alluminium used in the manufacture of these tractors ,dont panic if it is not losing coolant, regards joe

my local factors recondition,the lucas alternators on an exchange basis for about £25 ,maybe you have a local factor, car bitz accessories shop,or other that will supply the same,
