i have never known those joints to be that tight,but i would have ground one side of the joint away to expose the threads or worst cut with the burning knozzle close then grind the rest,both the heat and cutting off the surplus metal will ease the thread anyway! when you fit the new joint use valve ...
with the battle scarrs on the piston this shows its been tight/warm at some stage,i would like to see the block and its scoring,it is quite possible it is going to need boring and pistons plus the crank grind and shells,and then will last you out!
steve the bottom picture that scooby has posted is the early type i need a side on picture to show where the lever quadrant mounts and showing the tie rods position on the actuators on the axle
can anyone show me some different views of an early link box suitable for the cropmaster, or better still anyone got one that needs attention,i will repair and paint if i can use it to reproduce the box!
