I have bought it for £500 needs engine unseizing and putting back together injectors cleaning and pump cleaning gearbox high low unseizing clutch unseizing pto selector unseizing linkage unseizing and a new set of wings that I can see at the minute

It still won't turm over but since then it has sat for quite a few years with oil in the bores so there is the slight possibility that may have helped it

Well my mate had already tried hot oil hot diesel hitting it with a block of wood and hammer all while someone else tried to turn it over with a bar

Can you get new pistons and liners for these then or is that like looking for hens teeth as I was thinking of popping out the current ones and putting new ones in

he said before he bought it it had one owner from new and it had been barn stored it was put away as no longer required still running at this point then it stood in this shed for 20 years the shed fell down around it and it had a tree growing up between the rear wheel and the pto unit that he had to...

how much should i pay for a 25d

hi been a while since i was last on here a friend has just offered me a 25d he has got sitting in a hedge it is nearly rot free straight tinwork decent tyres but the head is off in his workshop as are injectors but bores are filled with oil and the top is sealed off but the engine is seized any idea...

do you use dot 4 or dad thought it may need hydraulic oil like for the power steering like the 1210

any idea where i can get a db 1200 exhaust from as that black oval thing that dad recons is a ford 6600 exhaust is driving me nuts! :evil:

with one wheel turning forwards and one turning back that is noemal that is just the diff effect if the wheels are off the ground that is i can't remember why but it is normal and all our tractors and my 2 land rovers all do it so it isn't just a tractor thing either it is with anything with a diff

or with the zetor 7745s they need engine rebuilds after 500 hours as the burn excess oil and smoke blue like mad

yes our 1210 is a simms pump one must just be a problem with the injector pump as to why they don't like starting

if it was it would have been from factory as dad and grandad haven't changed the gearbox and we have had it from new
how was the 1490 box different from the 1494
numbers on old box in permanent marker said u3514/7 and 2448 from what i can make out from the blurry photo
