Before we got to the auction I saw a Fordson E27N which had been bought of eBay a month earlier...

Scooby: Yeah they were both made in september 1971 and we hope to soon find out how powerful the engine is when we hook it up to our three furrow plough (David Brown C type). Dont worry about them getting lonely with being split up as we plan to take them to a couple of shows this year in and aroun...

Cropmaster Restoration

Hi Mitch, With it being an early cropmaster it was still being built along side the VAK1A, as a result many of the parts fitted are VAK1A. The steering wheel for example where it splines on to the shaft is smaller so an off the shelf cropmaster steering wheel will not fit. Apart from that the consta...

Switch

Is the switch mounted above the pivot point of the clutch pedal? If so it is the clutch safety switch, which on a new tractor had to be de-pressed to start the tractor. This was a safety measure so that the tractor could not be started in gear. Your tractor has obviously been re-wired to start witho...

Implematic Digger

Further to the DB800 picture posted by James earlier in the thread. Here are a couple of pictures of a machine that was on ebay in the US last year. The description was: "A Rare collectable. David Brown 880UMU with Wain Roy backhoe and Loader. Everything has been painted but backhoe. Color of body i...

1200 4wd

Thought I had seen it before. This was taken at the Newark vintage show in the last quarter of 2006. It was placed next to a "normal" 1200 4wd (i will try and find that picture) and dwarfed it.
