Re: 25D

Found a lot of pics and nearly all hide what it is they hook into at the back but finally found one pic that shows a piece of shaped flat steel with a hole in it for the hook to go into. Thanks Geoff.

Re: Top Link Arm lock nut

All painted and refitted. Had to bend the 3 handles a bit to ensure they clear the PTO housing other than that it works a treat.

Top Link Arm lock nut

On our 30C when driving along with the carry-all on sometimes the turnbuckle unwinds and drops the carry-all to the ground. Yes it is an easy fix to screw it back together but I feel it should not happen so I made a lock nut similar in style to the turnbuckle set up so that it looks similar. I start...

Re: 25D

Thanks Geoff.
I thought i would find some pics on this site but they only show the front end and not where or how they clip down at the rear. I will do just what you suggest and kick Dr Google in the guts for a look n see.
Cheers Cobba

25D

I am after some images of a 25D with engine covers on it and how they were attached at the dashboard end please. I tried a search on the Forum but no images only words on the topic.
A new friend has bought a 25D and is about to start tidying it up and wanted to fit the covers.

Clarendon Classic Rally

We went down to Sydney last weekend and took some toys with us and there was a nice selection of D.B. tractors parked up and a couple towing around passenger trailers. So here are a couple of the ones there.

Re: DB Brakes

When I did mine part number 10 was a metal retainer for the axle seal. It was suggested to me to not replace item #10 but to install 2 new seals which I did. I also fitted speedi-sleeves onto the axle surface where the new seals would run to ensure a nice smooth surface for the new seals to run on. ...

Re: DB Brakes

Nice trolley set up. When I did mine I replaced all the seals and even went as far as using a product called a speedi-sleeve on the axle surface where the seal runs to ensure a goof seal and no oil leaks. When done and after adjusting I road tested the tractor and the new linings work a treat. Even ...

Re: 30-FV Carb. Leaking.

The transmission do tend to growl a little but they are an extremely strong and well made box you should not be too worried. Ours growls a bit and always has done so since being in our care and have had no issues with it. As for the carby while your waiting for the oil filter you can give it a good ...
