RE: New Section - FAQ

Mitch, Hey it's not only Scooby who does the Admin work you know, the FAQ is my baby. Alchad (admin mode - sulking) PS BUT... as it happens Scooby suggested to me not 10 minutes ago that Errki's responses should be added to the FAQ's. Something about "great minds thinking alike" on opposite contine...

New Section - FAQ's

Just to advise that we've started a new section called FAQ's (in the "Main Menu" Section on the left hand side). The intention is that this can be used as a more convenient repository for the answers to various questions that crop up on a regular basis. Pride of place as FAQ No 1 goes to Powerrabbi...

Sorry guys, we needed an oil change.

Sorry for the site being down last evening and part of today. I'm writing as if I know what the problem was but in truth I haven't got a clue. All I know is that it wasn't a problem with our site per se. It must have been a server problem.

Onwards and upwards.

RE: 3 Way Valve on 990

Don Hello and welcome to the DBTC. As an initial source of help you might try checking out our "web links" section. In particular the section headed "Other Useful Information"where the first link is to a "David Brown Support site" which has an explanation of the Selectamatic system. The second link ...

Your local events section. Please read for contacts.

The idea behind this section of the DBTC Forum is to keep Members informed of what events are being held where David Brown is the theme or the club shop is in attendance, on what date, and where. We have had to design it so that only Moderators can post because we want to keep it in chronological o...

Hello Ritchie. Chris is absolutely correct. If you pay to join the Club now you will indeed have to pay again on May 1st this year, 2008. BUT. If you join now you will receive all the magazines that you would have received as if you had joined last May 1st (2007) and so there really is no disadvant...

RE: Old DBTC Photo Album has disappeared!

Chris, Ha - my fiendish plot has worked! Yes the Photo Album has gone, it was thought that the "Model Range" section made it superfluous because additional photos could be included on the "more photos" page of each model. HOWEVER, as you rightly point out some of the later and last models still nee...

Well thanks for the encouragement - that's a big help. :D :D :D :D To be honest there are so many things that we wanted to do with the site that in some ways we really didn't know where to start. Well we did actually, we knew that we had to improve the site security and we also knew that we had to ...

RE: Few indexes?

Arnfinn,

Thanks for the suggestion. We know there are lots of ways the site need improving and will be trying to do just that in the future. The idea of more sections in the forum sounds a good idea - what do others think?
