There was a 'small' New Holland baler in the auction at Malvern, I do not know what model it was but never seen one before (or since). The bales are smaller by about 4 inch in both width & length . The one in the sale had a complete bale that caught a few folks attention. The machine made £1300 if ...

Do you know which fuel injection pump (FIP) it has ? Either a CAV or a Bosch ?

RE: back end oil seals on 1210
I made the puller recently, as shown in the manual. The threads into the seal carrier casting were quarter UNC if my memory serves me right ? The beauty of removing the seal carrier is that you can get your hand in the axle and clean out all the dross and snott that has deposited it self in the trou...

In terms of "rare",it is a very nice example for any make of tractor from 1964, would certainly like it in my collection as a patined Implematic in a rare good condition. If it had grey wheels and the numbers 35 on the bonnet, or blue with multiples of 1000 on the bonnet, then I am sure the vendor c...

RE: Hydraulic return pipe
Hmm. There are other ports in the three way valve but I get the impression that they are all pressure feed ports. The furthest left port is for the front loader which must take oil from the lift ram as the arms cannot be used in conjunction with a front loader. Its not having a front loader so I can...

Hydraulic return pipe
Wanting to fit a DB Mid-mounted mower to an 880E Implematic. Got the instruction book which shows the hydraulic return pipe for 770 Imps and 880/990 Selectamatics, but does not show the return for 880/990 Implematics with the 3 way valve and taps ?

It does look to be in good condition from the tin work. I wouldn't regard it as a challenge, seen a lot worse, more a risk on what are you actually getting for your money. Blocks were susceptable to cracking? Can see welding work around the front casting? Definitely worth trowing a bid but if you ar...

RE: How much to rebuilld (995) engines?
How long is a piece of string ? Do you want to the work yourself or give the whole job to some one else? There are some very cheap engine rebuild kits advertised including cranks, pistons and liners around £500. They might be ok for the hobby/show rebuild tractor, but I get the impression that your...

Air hammer . Fit a flat faced tool and come up from underneath. Does not need a lot of heavy blows as the vibration into the stock taper makes them jump off.

Nobody could give me an actual load rating for the front tyres, which I find strange ? Anyroad, I spoke with British Tyre & Rubber Co at Shipley near Bradford. His advice was Goodyear 750x16 8ply because an 8 ply is not available in a Goodyear 600. They are £85 each.. I asked about the other 8 ply ...

Front loader tyres.
Recommendations please for 6.00 X 16 front tyres for my 885 with loader . At present it has a pair of part worn Goodyear 6 ply and the walls soon belly out with a bit of load. I also have the genuine DB front grille guard but have taken it off just to relieve the front tyres as they look over loaded...

Did see the sign post for Morgan Cars. Remember it on the tv when Sir John "trouble shooter" forget his last name (Harvey was it?) He visited Morgan and it appeared to be a few Grimstone Garages where they rolled car chassis from one to another for assembly and made nowt on the final product with a ...
