There's some Heretics on this site, when we next wheel out the ducking stool at Meltham (could it be made ready for after the auction? for some light entertainment) we can pour some used universal Agri Engine oil in and Duck the heretics into the stuff. Lets get the lads engine starting on the key on the information given. A diesel engine requires compressed hot air and atomised fuel, at the right time, to start, every time. It may start on warm air, wet fuel with an FIP a couple of degrees out. He may get 40 horse power at the pto to do its work, ...

Have a good supply of clean fuel up to the Injection pump, ie, not farm yard red with half the duck pond in there. Make sure it is not pulling air in to the line whilst stood.
