I was driving through County Antrim tonight and saw a real mint 1200 4wd on a lorry. Could it have been the one from the auction on route to its new home this side of the Irish sea?

Di has hit the nail on the head! It was a sponsored ladies tractor run in Broughshane, County Antrim raising money for Cancer Research. Over 80 women took part. Pink was the theme and there were prizes for best dressed woman and best dressed tractor which the Daisy Brown won. So far over £10,000 ...

Have you tried James Kidd outside Broughshane, County Antrim. He has dismantled quite a few David Browns over the years and he might have a half decent block in the yard.

Yes Lee it is a 990 4wd, a very scarce model I believe. It belongs to a local collector who I think bought it somewhere in England a few months back.
