Hi guys, More great photos from Chris. Neville, 'slightly wet' would be a bit of an understatement   , remember 2 or 3 years ago part of the showground ended up being flooded within an hour, but hopefully we should be due good weather this year. 8) Broadsword, talking about old Fords, I to...

RE: Glens road run Co Antrim

Thanks for posting this Neville, it was too good of an opportunity to miss getting a photo of this, but trust me not to have my camera with me that day. My unrestored 880 looks out of place amongst the rest of these finely restored selectamatics. That was my first time on the Glens road run as it ha...

Guys, have you any travel plans sorted yet I have looked at a few hotels/b&b's but would need to know dates/numbers to see availability and there's always the option of Darwin's offer above.

Dont worry about parking for the wagon, there is security on at the showgrounds from the Thursday so it would be safe enough sitting there.

Hi guys, good news about the transport a very generous gesture by stg. I'll try and help with the accomodation as I am quite close to the showground. Firstly, are you's bringing a car/jeep or would you be depending on a taxi or a generous db club member from ni to ferry you to your accomodation. The...

The Ballymena steam rally would be fairly big with usually over 20 steam engines, 30-40 pre 1930 tractors as well as 2-300 vintage/classic tractors plus a host of vintage lorries/cars etc. It and the show that was at Mount Stewart every year tend to be the 2 biggest shows in NI. Andy it would be gre...

Chris, the club will be made most welcome when you come over and it would be a unique opportunity for many to see the last tractor over here. The handiest ferry for you's to get would probably be the overnight boat from Birkenhead to Belfast or from Fleetwood to Larne but them routes would probably ...

RE: Transportation for latest purchase.

George Alexander from the Derry area brought home my hurricane harvester and he has also brought tractors over for other people I know. A decent man to deal with and not too hard on the wallet either. I'll PM you his number if you want it.
