i been using a jd 257 past couple of years with auger feed, as scooby has mention use less untill its shined up nice again, going down the nh route this year wanted a 376 but settled on a 274 in the end,
also needle dog? thats a new one on me, ram stop is what ive always called them

the preasure is definetly going somewhere, with plenty of revs on is it shifting fine? if you leave it in second and shut the revs righ back will it slip back to first? i'm not sure its sequence valve as this would still play up in 4th, the sequence valve is just there to make sure the brake band is...

sounds like its broke but have see the r clip sheared off, as pr says with the rear cover reved you will see whats moving but if it is broken the cross shaft will need to come out, more time consuming than challenging

the switch connection spade on the wire or on the switch itself may be loose . the light relies on the switch to create the earth so it cant be a loose wire although it maybe chaffed and earthing somewhere along the line and earthing which will light it, the thread is 1/8 bsp i think, grease gun fl...

if your not worried about being a purist then its a better option not only will one battery do the job but you dont have a massive length of battery lead that could lead to volt drop issues in years to come

for the extra fiver (at the most) a spare belt will get you off the road and moving, hellish lot cheaper than a link belt , they do seem to last pretty well tied up in there, after all they are living in the same place just not having the luxury of going around some pulleys

every time ive done one a spare belt goes in, if someone has had one come loose i find that unlucky , when your on the side of the road couple of spanners you will be on your way very quickly, tim earlier in this post you recomended a link belt, thats all i have to say

o my goodness!!!! the ************ drain plug on the filter housing isnt a drain plug!!! come on man do you expect someone to undo the top hat to drain the oil, intimidator, your tractor sounds low on oil and its all out, yes undo the 1"1/4 plug below the diff to get another pint out, the filter is ...
