DPA pumps in general never need calibrated thats the whole point in there design. The pumps are on old tractors and most people here could easily do any repairs and setup on a dpa pump no problem as well as finding and repairing any faults . Anybody on here should always have a go at repairing a DB ...

Its most likely a 1956-57 DB 25, it probably quite a late one as the type of rear wheels were only fitted to the later tractors.30 series tractors had larger tyres as standard.

Why not just replace the bulb holders if the lights are in good nick ,these type of lights are hard to get but the bulbholders are the same as lots of older British Leyland cars. Try unipart or vintage light suppliers.

The serial no is stamped on the top face front corner of the front casting , engine no should be near the dynamo.

Either the serial plate dosent belong to the tractor or the engine has been changed to a diesel one.

the engine being the main difference with the 25D but as it was sold cheaper it has fewer standard features and had smaller size tyres with higher geared reductions as standard. The differance in engine bore would not have made it any cheaper to produce a 25D as opposed to the 30D. P30 on the serial...

Looks like a rare Prototype engine based on the 950 engine but having developments for the 990 being trailled. Quite arare find ,the story with the jeep makes it worth preserving.
