RE: 990 PAS leaking into oil pan?

Hi Spring1
If you google SPAREX USA and enter part # S.3768 into the search box you will find the pump seal, also if you remove the old seal & take it to your local Bearing & Seal supply store they should be able to match it for you.

RE: DB1212 1973 pilot tool

You will need a pilot tool to line up the PTO Clutch only. if It's a new or rebuilt Clutch assembly the drive clutch should be lined up OK.

RE: 885 Hydraulic Stuff - questions and observations

First off all you should get the Selector Switch freed up, do your testing in TCU, when in TCU you get to control the 3-P-H & when your in Height or Depth it's mechanically controlled more or less, the safety lock on the L/H side must be seized in the off position if not your 3-P-H would not go down...

RE: help needed on db 850 hydraulics.

With the engine running, lift lever all the way back (lift position) find something like a wooden-dowel & tap down on the threaded rod & nylon lock nut, make sure that you are not standing on the 3-P-H Arms just in case it may start to work?

RE: 995

That is not a filler plug, It's a return port only, if you had a Loader Installed you could use this port for the return oil to lube the transmission etc.

RE: David Brown 996 Clutch PTO Pressure Plate

Hi Pipeliner;
The 996 has a Independent PTO Clutch & the only way to adjust the PTO fingers is on the proper clutch base plate, if you adjust the turnbuckles you are only guessing they have to be adjusted correctly if not you may be looking for trouble down to road.

The first thing i would do, is take a Pressure reading, to see if It's the Hyd Pump or something else,
Do you have Remotes on this unit?

Inside the By-Pass valve it should have a 3/8 Brass Screw threaded into the valve with a Screwdriver slot, loosen off this screw, it has a hole in the center of it that you can fish it out with a piece of wire, then get yourself a 3/8 NF bolt screw it into the valve and pull out the By-Pass valve, H...
