QD90 Fitted

Finished off fitting the QD90 loader today, needed a couple of new hoses and a bit of customizing on the levers but all working perfect now.
Power beyond plate doing its job.
Will fit the bucket tomorrow, paint job needed badly.

I could have done that of course but there is actually no extra pipes needed this way, there is only two hoses going from the plate directly to the loader spools, Is there a neater way???? There are no levers to be tied back and not using up one of the tractor spool valves. No taps. Also I have a fi...

Advantages are that the loader is lie all the time and has the option of single or double pumps. There is no 3 way valve on the 1694.

RE: 1694 power beyond plate photo

Technically, The flow should not be restricted to the loader spools, the plate is the first one we've made, its made to suit my set up with protruding thread and nuts as per pic, This is because I have a three spool valve set up and couldn't get 3/8 bolts long enough to suit. If people were interest...

RE: 1694 power beyond plate photo

The oil is flowing through the loader spools and back through the tractor spools, A friend made the plate on a cnc machine.

1694 power beyond plate photo

Just thought I'd post a pic of the power beyond plate that my mate made for the 1694, its now plumbed to the valve chest of the QD90 loader.
All seems to be working with no leaks yet.
I'm just waiting on a joystick to finish.

I don't know what the exact "downforce load" weight is on the hitch when fully loaded but its not overloaded as the trailer is well balanced and also well braked. I would have borrowed a smaller trailer if I thought the tractor was been stressed. Trailers have come on since the eighties. The origina...

The tractor can handle it, hitch couldn't though, that's why its been modified and reinforced with a dromone drawbar and hooks. Seems to be managing fine now. This tractor will eventually be painted white as it was originally.

1694 flying the flag.

The 1694 has been busy pulling around 18-20 tons for the last two days. Not a bother on it.
