Eventually got seal holder off , problem was one bolt was about a thread and a half longer than other , so even with it totally unscrewed the end of it wouldn't clear the hole , got around it by hacksawing the head off , not a question of giving up just didn't want to damage aluminium holder , what ...

Hi yeah have workshop manual , bearing condition ok , tractor definitely has the clutch release , has the handle at the side when you knock it cuts the drive by engaging clutch pedal

A lucas 128SA seems to be a 4 position switch with 3 double connectors and 1 single connector. If its a 128sa thats being used, maybe the single connector has been broken off?
