Re: DB 1200 hydraulics

I see the valves in the pics you sent. Can I pry the valves out if I can get 27 out? It will raise the lift arm when engine is running but can not lower. Shut engine off arms slowly drop. Which valve controls lowering?

Re: DB 1200 hydraulics

I got the drag link socket, but still too tight. Tearing the screw slot. Is it safe to use what? Have used several penetration fluids and a impact screwdriver, still not turning.

Re: DB 1200 hydraulics

Got all the covers off. There are 2 big screws under that plate near the quadrant, they are might tight! Is there a spring if and when I take them out?

DB 1200 hydraulics

This 1200 has been sitting for years. Drained and replaced trans filter and oil. 3 point lift arms will go up with engine running but can not lower them. Shut off engine arms go down. Thoughts?

Re: DB 1200

Got the engine to start on 2 cylinders but throttle is wide open. Had to an off the intake to stop it. Still only 2 injectors getting fuel and shut off not working. May need the pump rebuilt? Not easy to find in US. Any over there?

Re: DB 1200

OK things are getting better. Got the engine loose, turned the pressure plate by hand then cranked it over with starter. Number 4 cylinder is the only one getting fuel. It tried to start couple of times. Fuel lines are clear. Any trick to get injection pump pumping?

Re: DB 1200

I drained oil it was clear of water. Transmission was oil free some water though. Got most levers moving, trans in neutral, can't turn engine in the inspection plate on bottom. Will remove injectors and put some Marvel Mystery oil in leave it a few days

Re: DB 1200

I'm sorry about location. I'm 60 miles south of Washington DC USA. Virginia USA. I don not have a owners manual but have owned a DB990 for 25 years. The 1200 is a major upgrade for me. Took the shift levers out today, looks live some rust down in the case. Can't tell if its in neutral or in gear. Wh...

DB 1200

I just got a DB1200 that has been sitting for years. Wheels roll but all the levers are stuck. Haven't try to start it yet, was going to put Marvel mystery oil in trans, maybe in cylinders. Any suggestions?
