Re: DVLA Registration

If you have the engine and chassis numbers you could apply by using form V62 and leave the reg no blank if the details are still on the dvla database you will get the origanal number if not you will have to go down the lines of a age related reg after applying to the club for proof of year of manufa...

Re: 1690T reduction ratios ...

And to update this I have now found the reduction stamp on the hub it is very difficult to see it's fitted with the fast reductions hence why it will clock around 20 mph on 18.4x34s

Re: 1690T reduction ratios ...

I have a fairly early 1690 here in the UK fitted with 24" fronts and 34" rears with tires 13.6x12x24 and 18.4x15x 34 fitted and this is correct by the operators manual I have no idea what the reductions are as the plate is missing

Re: Trailer brakes retro fitting

Yes it can be done but the biggest problem is finding the parts I believe the valve is still available but unless you can find the other parts on a bracket tractor the need making up specialy there has just been a thread about it on one of the David Brown face book pages

Re: February's Classic tractor

Yes it's a brilliant in depth article and very interesting I even contacted the editor to tell him so and was told that it was the sale of the 1690 at the Norfolk sale that made home diside that he wanted to run a special on the 1690 in the February issue

Re: 90 series interior
