Re: Gearbox Filter "C" in 1410 operators manual

Thanks again, Ollek... Yepp, veritable "greenhorn"...I needed a more substantial tractor than my '65 CASE 430 to operate haybine and square-baler...got in a bit over my head as far as size/complexity...But have come here in hopes of learning and not causing any damage due to neglect or guesswork mis...

Gearbox Filter "C" in 1410 operators manual

I have found the required TFD for gearbox...I figure I'd do some maintenance before topping off. Re: Hydraulic filter on fitting problem on 990

Don't know if this helps, but here is a detailed video of a host changing hydraulic on DB 780...he hits a snag with new filter, but gets it situated.

1410 Lubrican vs. Lubricannot

Mortified to recently discover the old gearbox is mighty mighty low...Bought this wonderful 1980 beast this summer and did my first hay crop...No signs of leak but it's lowwww (off the dipstick low)... Is there at all an acceptable interim (until I can change filter and oil) compatible substitute fo...

Re: Confusion regarding my 1410

Thanks Much, Ollek... "CASE-imported" rather...though a semi-rarity stateside, most enthusiasts are aware of its unique heritage. Its acquisition has garnered me the moniker of "The James Bond of Pretend Farmers" in our small town, where Ford/New Holland and John Deere are the norm - lol. I really a...

Confusion regarding my 1410

Hey There! Greetings from Kentucky. I am anxious to embark upon my first spring details with this magnificent beast and wanting to make sure all levels are where they should be. This is not my only Case, but unlike those with separate fill ports and fluids for gearbox and hydraulics, my 1410 manual ...
