Re: Dump valve leak

Just wondering about the reassembling of the dump valve,do the holes in the shaft need to line up with the slots in the larger plunger that goes over the main shaft? Thanks

Dump valve leak

Hi I have a leak coming from the dump valve plunger on a 1490 where it sits on top of the back end, just wondering is it a straight forward fix? looks like removing a couple of bolts and plunger will come out?oil is pushing up from plunger when engine is running, would anyone think if that's just an...

Re: Hydraulic variable control valve

Ah grand thanks,it just seems a bit fast for some operations on the remote valves but nice and quick for others,no twin pump, had an old zetor way back and there was a small lever which controlled the raise speed of the arms, was very handy, think it controlled the remote valve too cause used to have a...

Hydraulic variable control valve

Just wondering if this is an easy fix?,it's not much of a problem anyway but the hydraulic flow on a 1490 seems very fast, theres no change when the flow rate valve is turned, the one on the floor beside the seat, seems like its unscrewed or something but is all attached right down and into the back en...

Re: Lift pump dropping fuel

Ah right thanks for that sounds like the problem, because there was some dirt in the bowl but never seen it happen before, took off bowl and cleaned around sure see what happens this time, would that lead to air getting into the system though?because it will start and run no problem

Re: Lift pump dropping fuel

Just some more info,I don't know if this is usual but when the bowl was full I loosened the diesel intake pipe at the lift pump and the diesel ran out down to the level it was dropping to,maybe it would do that anyway?

Re: Lift pump dropping fuel

It's a 1490,ok will check that again thanks,it does seem to drop to the level where the diesel enters inside the glass bowl itself

Lift pump dropping fuel

Hi would anyone have a reason why diesel is dropping down in the lift pump glass bowl,it's full when engine is running but diesel level drops down to half way about 5 mins after stopping engine,it starts fine and doesn't seem to be any air in system when running,it's a new lift pump and was fine for...
