David brown loader slow lift

Hi, have a david brown loader on a 1390 which is operated via a kontec 3 leaver bank in the cab, no cables,the main loader lift leaver is the middle one which has a two speed lift,when the leaver is pressed half way down this does the main heavy lifting,what's happening is with a heavy lift the load...

Well before I started it this morning I bled it and air did come out after a few pumps of the lift pump and took about four or five pumps to clear it, the diesel was flying out no problem from the injection pump, it started and all was fine, I took off the lift pump bowl there was a little dirt on t...

Yep all being left alone,gauge shoots up to red hot with the wire to body test,gave tractor a good spin on the road,the gauge needle made its way nicely between yellow and green fields and nice heat in cab,thanks again!

Thanks for info lads that's great,will give that a go with the wire,yeah I have heard they can take some running to get the gauge really moving,but the air does come out nice and hot from the heater fan after about 10 mins thou,would I be right in saying that the thermostat is opening if the top rad...

Just wondering does anyone know how to check if the temperature gauge on a 90 series is working?this one wasn't connected up but I found the wire and connected it to the sender switch and the gauge is moving into the yellow but doesn't go any further,new thermostat is in the engine and the cab heate...

Yes that's the set up on it,would anyone know what type thread that is or what size bung I would look for?thats just presuming them bung holes are a certain standard size of course,thanks

Hi I got a reconditioned engine radiator for a 1490 turbo and all is fine but there is no cap on the radiator just a threaded hole where the cap would be,it's about a 1 inch threaded diameter or so,but just wondering what type of fitting goes into this and is there a standard radiator cap on top the...
