Re: 2wd 1490 tyres
Yeah them kliebers do crack up surely, 265s they be a nice tyre, wondering though are the rims different to fit some of them tyres and keep them away from King pin, I do see some good wide tyres on some and there's no way would fit on this one, is there a difference with the 1490 and 1494 in that re...

Re: 2wd 1490 tyres
One spare tyre that's on, actually rubs on the king pin, a 225/75/16,have another one that fits nice a 205/75/16,they are off vans or small trucks think, would the original 11L 15 equate to one of them? And do the wheel rims differ from some of the other Brown models compared to the 90 series ones? ...

Exaust size
Have been checking around for a new exaust for a 1490,and all dimensions on the new ones are good except the silencer diameter is 185mm compared to 115mm on the original exaust that's on it, would seem fairly wide, and very close to the air intake under the windscreen, just wondering did anyone get o...

Re: Rear hydraulic cross shaft leak
OK great, is it as straight forward as it looks taking that unit apart or is there anything to watch out for?

Rear hydraulic cross shaft leak
Have a hydraulic oil leak coming from the left hand side where the main lifting cross shaft runs into for lifting the rear arms on a 1490,oil comes out when a heavy weight is on the arms, and arms are very constantly dropping slightly(maybe half inch or so) and straight away returning to their origin...

Expansion bowl heads up!
Something to watch out for on the expansion bowls 90 series, there's a small steel pipe that runs from top of the bowl to the bottom which is connected to the top of the radiator via a small rubber pipe, well unknown to me that little steel tube was blocked up with rust etc, anyway that was fine when...

Re: Exaust pipes
So am I right in saying there should be some sort of silencing system in the silencer on the exaust, like the wire mesh or honey comb that can be seen when looking down the pipe?

Re: Exaust pipes
Thanks for that, I am fairly sure there was a little mesh inside alright, was ages since looked at that though, nothing there now anyway, tractor just seems a bit loud that's all really, just not not sure how much mesh should be in them

Re: Exaust pipes
Yeah it's a turbo, but it has a silencer on the exaust just when looked down through there is nothing there, I would presume that should be some sort of honey comb to dampen the noise? Have seen them straight through pipes on some alright

Exaust pipes
Probably a silly question this but have an exaust pipe off a 90 series and if I look down through it,there is no obstruction and can see straight through with no mesh or any sort of honey comb, it's the round type silencer it,is this normal? Or is it finished? Thanks
