Thanks all. There's a loader on the tractor also. So i'll have to drain the rams. Looking through some of the forum for "flushing" it is best to disconnect the return hose from the loader and operate it up/down to flush out also hence using hydraulics but the advice is to operate it just enough to c...

flushing out transmission/Hydraulics

Any tips on how to flush out transmission of a 1212. I drained the oil and what came out was gunk. If I refilled with new oil i'd have to drain it again after a few hours running which is expensive. Is there a cheaper option?.

Update! I got the left side brake assemly taken a part, I got the fulcrum pin out eventually... Should I replace the bushing's? they look ok. Has any one sourced them?

Thanks for your replies. if I try to engage PTO lever it ginds against internal gears so the PTO gears are still turning. I can engage if tractor is switched off. Thanks.

Hi All I need to replace the brakes in my 1212. they are the old mechanical type. How much does the final drive weigh? . How did you safely remove yours? did you make up a trolley jack or somthing? pictures would be great to see. Also one final question. the PTO clutch does not disengage when I push...

Looks great. Where did you get the grey cover at the back of the cab? Also I see the roof has the black top but underneath there is a preforated white plastic lining, Can you buy this new?
