Case manuals

Off topic I’m sorry, but would anyone know where I could find a workshop manual for case 4240?

Turtle and hair split gear stopped working on a buddy’s tractor, any help appreciated.

Many thanks

1594 dump valve

Hi all, I am slowly working through the list of jobs, and next it’s the lift mechanism. It all works fine, raises, holds and lowers (with weight). The issue was it wouldn’t lower very far, and I had to reduce the draft sensitivity to the min setting to get it to lower. The linkage raises with a very...

Re: New parts store

Hi,

It’s was more the parts list, and by the statement on the original website, seemed to indicate that the new website might take over.

Having access to the parts online is very good, so I may just download them all for my models

New parts store

I was just looking up some parts, and I have come across a new parts store. You cannot see the technical drawings without signing in, however if you try to register, you can only do that if you are US or CA based.

Has anyone else come across this?

Cheers

Re: 1594 to do list

Hi Ollek,

I rebuit the slave cylinder, it stopped the leak, but I still have the issue where the clutch will bite at a very early part of the clutch travel, eg very close to the floor.

Any ideas of things to check for?

Many thanks

Re: QD90 loader ram seals

Hi Ollek,

So I was in contact with a company here in Ireland. They have listings for most loaders, including the HD90.

I am going to post the seals this week, and they will match them. He is going to create a listing for the QD90, so if anyone wants seal kits they will have them.

Many thanks

Re: QD90 loader ram seals

Many thanks Ollek, Any reason why the parts store doesn’t show any loader details after 1976? It seems that the 90 and 94 series loaders are missing. I will have to wait until after the lockdown, the seal supplier can send me the seals, but need sizes etc. I might put them in the post to them. Many ...

QD90 loader ram seals

Hi all, Is the a parts list for a QD 90 ? I need to reseal all of the rams, and was wondering if there were seal par numbers or kits available. It’s the later type, with 4 rams. It’s on a 1594 hydrashift 4WD 1988 model. Many thanks Edit: I can only find Lf series loaders on the ih parts website, up ...

Hydrashift into a synchro tractor?

Hi all,

Would it be possible to put a hydrashift box into a synchro tractor?

Original tractor 1394 4wd 1988 syncro.

Donor tractor 1394 2wd 1988 hydra shift

If it is possible I will just transplant the entire cab over.

Many thanks

Re: 1594 to do list

Hi Ollek, Yes we have only used lhm, I have a couple of bottles of it on the shelf so no one will use anything else. I’m not sure what the previous owner used. As soon as I got it, we flushed the brake and the clutch system with lhm just to be sure. I will replace the seals and report back. Thanks a...

Yes I have disconnected the cable, the lever just doesn’t want to move.

I will report back when I get a chance to look inside.

Thanks again

1394 4wd slipping

Hi all, I have enquirer before about this issue, and I have found out the issue was the wrong size rear tyres, causing the transmission to wind up, and slip. Part no 2 and 4 in https://partstore.caseih.com/us/parts-search.html#epc::mr65470ar1050044 Are the parts I believe that I need to replace. The...

1594 to do list

Hi all, Another question, this time with our 1594. The clutch slave cylinder is leaking a lot. It will leak down over night. I have just bought a new rebuild kit for it. One question regarding the kit. It has a small pouch with something like grease in it, what exactly is this for? Also, the clutch ...
