Re: New here, looking for some advice

HI all, So a lot more learned, and now it’s time to do some work. I need to find out the exact grade of oil for both 1594 hydrashift, and 1394 synchro. There is a lot of different information out there, the owners manual contradicts the workshop manual, so if anyone can shed some light, I would appr...

1394 pto clutch

hi Again The PTO hand clutch has stopped working. I have traced the cable from the rear left coming out of the cab all the way around to the front right under the steps to the lever into the clutch. When i try to move the lever by hand, it seems to be coming up against a hard stop, but will not rele...

Re: 1394 steering fluid change

Hi all, Many thanks for your help. If i slacken off the pipes at the ram, and manually move the wheels from side to side, will this eventually drain the entire system? Also, replacing the filter, I cant find any reference to this in the workshop manual, can anyone give me a breakdown on how to repla...

94 series loader joystick

Hi again,

Does anyone know where I could pick up a loader joystick?

Or even the David brown loader controls?

Many thanks

1394 steering fluid change

Hi All,

I was topping up the steering fluid, and I noticed it was very dirty.

Can anyone give me the simplest way of draining the steering fluid, for replacement?

Many thanks

Re: 1394 wiring diagram

Hi Ollek,

Sorry for the late reply, thank you very much for the diagrams. It may be my computer, but I can’t see the diagrams when I zoom in. Where is the origin of these diagrams?

Many thanks

Edit

Received a pm, thank you for your help, much appreciated.

Thanks

1394 wiring diagram

Hi all,

I have various manuals for this tractor, one from here, all very old, but one thing I am struggling to find is a wiring diagram for the model. There are basic tests for each individual part, however the mentioning of colors is pretty small.

Can anyone point me in the direction?

Many thanks

Re: 1394 rate of lowering not working

Hi Ollek,

I will take a look at that later next week.

Yes I think I might just replace the pumps, at some stage in the future once I get to finally strip down the tractor.

Thanks again for your help.

Cheers

1394 rate of lowering not working

Hi all, Our 1394 has been around for a long time, but it still works well. It will be going for a bit of a tear down next year, as the cab needs some tlc, and I want to add more remote valves etc. I have just been checking the hydraulics, to see what works etc, and I noticed that the rate of lowerin...

Re: New here, looking for some advice

Hi Ollek, Ok very good, so I was right with my thoughts for my requirements. I don't need to have a float position, but it just confused me to how it would work, but having both to the tank does make sense. So in my case, I will need two return lines to the case, top left rear, beside the dipstick. ...

Re: New here, looking for some advice

Hi Ollek, The front 3 point hitch has two rams, but both fed from a single hose, and is double acting, so the spring centred third remote valve should work fine for this. The detent remote valve, the float position, can you direct me to any manuals or info about this? I'm not really sure I understan...

Re: New here, looking for some advice

Hi Ollek, Thanks again for your explanation. Let me explain what I require from my tractor, and I will hopefully be able to understand you better. Sorry I am only new to the details of the tractor, and our requirements have since changed. Currently we only have one remote valve. It's the lever close...
