Re: Third service

Dbiow, Thanks for the link. I called Approved and they said I’d need a 6port valve so that I have one feed into the valve, with a feed and return into crowd ram and another into the grab ram. I think I’ve got that right..... I’ll ponder the whole thing (it’s over £120 for the valve) and update the ...

Re: Third service

I’m not sure his one has the right number of ports etc, approved hydraulics are very good over the phone and will soon tell you. This is the basic thing you need as bedwards1966 said https://www.approvedhydraulics.co.uk/products/3-port-solenoid-diverter-valve-1-2-open-centre-80lpm-12-24vdc?_pos=6&_s...

Re: LF9 loader for sale

Happy if someone only wants bits from it.

Only after a beer for it to cover the time of loading it up just seems a shame to scrap it but unfortunately I need the space for other things

Re: 4600 selectomatic

If you get really stuck resizing pics I email them to myself on iPhone and it gives the option to make smaller to save data once emailed smaller I then save to fone from the recived email and upload!

But I am a Luddite that hasn’t really got a clue with modern stuff

LF9 loader for sale

I’ve got a complete fl9 (power tip) loader sat here in good-reasonable condition doing nothing other that gathering dust. The rams are all in good used condition but have been sitting a couple of years. Some rust in the end cross beam and muck fork, that’s also missing most of its tines. The loader ...

Re: Loader - Replacement Rams

Which
H model loader do you have? There may be some good second hand ones around. If it’s any help I have a set from a 995 tractor in good condition, I can check the loader model for you if there if interest?

Re: Spring from gearbox

My 885 selects the gears with no effort, just a very occasional crunch on second. My uncle had a 995 that had seen a lot of hard loader work the gearbox gave up eventually, that used to jump the selectors if you went diagonally with the geAr laver and try to get two gears at once :( if you only had ...

Re: Spring from gearbox

Thank you kindly Ollek.

That would explain the occasional crunch from second then  the tractor has done this for the last 20 plus years so I’m surprised the spring has taken this long to come out

I won’t worry about it at this time due to how few hours it does.

Spring from gearbox

Hello again all. I’ve just changed the gearbox oil in my 885 (79 q cab) in the bottom of the filter housing I’ve found a wire (poss a spring clip?) there was also a small amount of sludge on the top of the filter with a few small white bits of nylon/plastic. I’ve tried to get pics of them as best I ...

885 & 995 loaders

Hello folks, I’ve not been here for a while. I have got a 79 885 with a LQ8 trip loader on and a LF9 power loader from a 1972 995 sat in the shed. I’m wanting to convert my trip loader to a power loader so I can use a bale spike and tines (not built yet) Is there any reason I can’t put the 995 loade...
