I have finally found the support Snout I needed. I contacted Barclay Williams and Stuart was extremely helpful in locating the part I needed. And it was "Brand New"! It only took 3 days to get the part from the U.K. to the U.S.!! I highly recommend calling Stuart if you need any parts, he was knowle...

Hi guys, I'm I'm desperate need of a bearing carrier support Snout for my 1976 David Brown Case 990 Selectamatic. What did I Break?

I had just finished bolting my 990 Selectamatic together after replacing the clutch disks. I slid off the trans cover to clean up the old gasket and noticed this.
What is the name of this part and how could I have broken it?
Can anyone help?

Thx
Mark

Clutch repair 990 selectamatic

I am replacing the clutch discs on my 990 and when I split the tractor the small shaft was stuck in the pilot bearing and pulled out about 12 inches beyond what I expected. (I watched a couple vids and read all the service manuals ahead of time) It feels like with a little work I might be able to sl...

Re: Where can I find out specifics?

So is it referred to as a " livedrive" or the dual livedrive clutch? would it be the borg and Beck ?
Thanks again!

Any thoughts on the pilot shaft tool?

Hey guys, I have been looking for a replacement fuel gauge that will have a light so I can see it before the sun comes up.
