880 selectamatic hydraulics

Hi I've just picked up an 880 selectamatic as a none runner. I've got it running but the hydraulics don't work properly.
There is oil coming out of the dump valve any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks Nick

RE: Diff lock

Hi
All sorted and back together thanks. That was a tricky job. In the end I went in through the oil seal end compressed the spring using zip ties then string with slip knots that I was able to undo through the diff lock.

I've been having problems with my right hand brake on my selectamatic 880 so regrettabley I had a look today.
When I pulled it apart the half shaft came right out and the diff lock slipped down.
Has anyone got any surgestions.

780 hydraulics

Hi
My 780 hydraulics have stopped working. The annoying thing is that they were working fine until I changed the filter and milky substance In the transmission for some oil.
I would be interested in any advice, opinions and a check list.
Cheers Nick

Engine number

Hi
Can anyone explain the engine number on my 780 355011 2402
My 880 has a number with AD3 / 55A and my 770 has an AD3 / 49A
Curious because I haven't found any information on engine numbers.
Regards
Nick

Wo...
