Re: By-pass valve removal tip
i use an old paint brush handle for this job,if the plug and screw can hold gates on then the chances of splitting the valve is high!

Re: Break pedal removal.
there is a circlip on the brake pedal side, brake pedal nearest to the gearbox has a bolt through it or cellock pin but every thing will be seized and will need heat, have fun!

Re: Break pedal removal.
i have just done mine on an 880, sadly there is no corners to cut, soak in diesel, or mollass, use heat and tap whilst warm to ease pedals clean up with sander and emery cloth and refit!

Re: 770 780 siroco roll bar
does your 885 have flat top mudguards?if yes then why not opt for the db roll bar/cab frame.,
i'm not certain but the flat top mudguards will not allow the scirroco type roll bar to fit withou seeing some pictures of roll bar and tractor

Re: 880A Selectamatic information request
the two tubes bolt on the top of the rear axle to each mudguard, the joint for the cables is under the seat or a modern termination would be a 7 pin socket rather than the two pin rubber socket.

Re: Snapped drawbar - anyone ever seen this before?
the fact that you run on the short setting would mean less springy and more ridgid plus the fact it had been welded!
i have just purchased a 1690t and the draw bar was snapped off, not been welded but i would guess it may have been abused!
