RE: radiater

The three way switch is set to height, there's also a valve of some sort on the other side of the tractor, next to the PTO hand clutch, the arms will only work with the selector in height and this valve in the third position working away from the mudguard. I plugged a tipping trailer into it and it ...

RE: radiater

Hi again, I've now got the 1210 running properly but I'm having a few issues with it 1:- the link arms lift and lower happily on tick over, then out of nowhere will only lower about 3\4 of the way down and then lift again and they will go all the way down, what's happening to them? 2:- the tractor h...

RE: radiater

I'm now struggling with the hydraulic pump. The agriline website lists two and I don't know which one it is, is there any difference between the two?

RE: db radiator

Hi again I've just finished stripping the engine back and I'm having issues with the injector pump. The fuel system looks nothing like what's printed in the IT book. The injector pump has a pipe leading to the top of the injectors as well as the injector pipes. It appears to be mounted the wrong way...

RE: db radiator

Having examined the radiator, it does not have an arch for the pump shaft, the shaft goes underneath the rad, and the rad itself is mounted on rubber spacing pads. The cap has dropped to bits, so how do I know which cap to buy?

RE: 1210 acquisition

With the damage to the radiator filler point, (its been bent/twisted down at an angle and the cap has dropped to bits) I'm going to go for a replacement. Can the original fuel tank be welded? When the tractor is running its getting starved of fuel and surging until it cuts out, but when it starts to...

RE: 1210 acquisition

Okay, having sorted the gearbox problem, I'm finding all kinds of minor issues with it. Mainly the fuel tank has a big crack in the bottom and the radiator is like a cheese grater and looks to have been bashed on the filler cap. Are new radiators available or will any DB radiator bolt on?

RE: 1210 acquisition

It's a 1975 N reg 1210, first registered on 16th July 1975. Will I have to take the top off the gearbox to replace the selector, or can it be done through the gear lever hole?

RE: 1210 acquisition

Hi there :) The "weatherframe" cab came with it but is in five pieces. The safety frame side windows and windscreen, the two doors and the two lower front panels. The black plastic roof is unfortunately beyond saving as I had a catastrophe when loading it on the trailer. :( Just been out to take the...

1210 acquisition

I have just acquired a 1210

Image

I intend to restore this as my 3rd attempt at a restoration (the 1st two being an 880 Implematic and a 990 selectamatic) But it appears to be jammed in reverse. Any ideas how to get it going forwards would be very helpful. :)
