900 wheel dishes should be blue. Yellow on later 950 tractors.
Do you have the covers for the battery boxes? They are available.

There are numerous machines on the market that would be suitable for your tractor. The weight for knocking the post is lowered by gravity ( free fall )

Its a safety device that prevents the starter motor being operated if the gear lever is not in neutral.

The diff lock pedal should have been secured in the engaged position prior to removing the right hand reduction unit. If this procedure has not been done the diff lock sleeve will drop out of the selector.

Remove the circlip securing the latch knob after raising the lift arms by hand until the knob starts to come out but does not latch. The knob can then be moved forward exposing the circlip. Try the easiest options first, flush the system and then add K-Seal or equivalents. Welding is very rarely successful and usually ends up as a disaster unless done professionally which is very expensive.

There is nothing special about this warning light, no voltage regulation.
When the cut out points in the regulator/control box close the circuit to the warning light is opened and the light is extinguished.

I am not going to get involved in an argument but the method described for replacing the friction discs is definitely not the correct method.

Briefly— I suspect the problem is the friction discs on the control levers. If the control lever is loose there are three possibilities 1.The discs need adjustment. 2. The discs are worn out 3.
