1690 temperature what is the matter with it!!

Had a problem with the temperature gauge on my 1690, It use to go up slowly with the temperature of the engine, but it wouldnt stop until it got almost to the top in the red, so I put a new sender unit into the head (sparex S.57593) and it still goes up in the red as it did before, I'm sure It's not...

By stubby axle shaft i mean the one with the final drive gear on. Didnt want to put it in yet as it only makes it heavier. I have the splines on the diff lock sleeve and the diff lined up. I think the halfshaft is going into the diff lock sleeve, but not all the way through. Where abouts are you in...

Can I put 15/40 engine oil in the gearbox of my 1690 two wheel drive, or does it have to be only super universal, thanks Geoff.

Hi everyone, My 1490 hydro is so slow on the road it's an embarrassment, I,m overtaken by pedal cycles on a regular basis, I use it with a 9 foot topper during the summer cutting various meadows around my area, I'm thinking of changing the 13.6/12-38 rear tyres this winter and fitting slightly talle...

Well I replaced the o rings, two in all one at the top and one at the bottom and one of them had a plastic spacer the other one did'nt have enough room for a spacer, and it still leaks a little, if I turn the engine off with a topper on the back in the raised position it will creep down in around 10...

I use to have a lot of whining from my 1690, It use to ease off a little when turning the steering,after a lot of investigation I found it was one of the steering pipes which passed through the floor had chafed over a period of time until the rubber coating wore away and left the braided wire touchi...

Hi all, Iv'e got an oil leak from the three way valve block on my 1490 (just in front of n/s axle housing) I find it drips when the arms are up, but not when they are down, it looks like the drip is coming from the small barrel shaped structure on the bottom which has a small hole in it,would this b...
