the only engine {restorer} that works longterm is mollybond oil aditive and thats only provided that you have a low sillicon iron block. the molly bonds to the bore and reduces the clearance to boost tention on old rings and cleatance in valve guiges. but its only good for about 20% extention on lif...

if you leave it out, it will burn the exaust valves on 3/4 and messup the firing/timeing. the rotting out of the tubes can betraced to the death of many ad seires motors diesel and petrol to a lesser extent.

have you considered fitting the hicomp streight petrol comercial head? its 5.5 to one and improves economy,will run e10 fine and its easyer to find out here.

what year, or more to the point which distrubuter? i fitted a toyota hi lux unit same rotation, better advance curve and parts no problem. not a diffucult conversion and well worth it.

conect high prs air to the oil pump feed line and remove all the bigend cops, run air for ten mins, turn of air and replace caps and repete on mains two at a time. its not a rare fault with these motors and its usaly a chunk of oil pump lodged in a oil gallery turn. if any of the oil feeds is not fl...

Its possable to have live hydrulics on croppys, buy fitting a hydrulic remote pump{powersteering} at the front driven of the pully, but you risk the crank nose breaking if you try heavy duty work. otherwise its easy just a bracket and pickup pipe,presure line from any fel system taped into the hydru...
