I have looked at all my leaflets but they are all in...

RE: 1200 injector pump question

I have the complete kit pipes, timing gears even both timing gear casings front and back, I was just concerned about the injectors and if there was any difference between the 1200 72Hp engine and the 1210 engine.

many thanks

1200 injector pump question

My 1200 has a simms injector pump on it which has a few problems, 1. the oil filler cap thread is stripped and 2. the front seal leaks causing oil to leak into the sump. I know these are problems that can be rectified when I remove it from the tractor, but I have a perfectly good bosch pump removed ...

engine has not been touched, its done 3000 hours. the only thing we had to do was put a set of front weights as when the topper was in transport position it made the front end light. Any work we do on really rough or wet ground I tend to use the 880 with a 4ft topper because of the weight. I have ha...

RE: how good is your engine Really???

we have a 1976 990 which spends most of its time topping, it has an 8ft side mounted major topper on it which it powers well, last job we did with it it was cutting grass as high as the bonnet as long as you stuck it in a sensible gear it was fine

wheel nuts

does anyone know where I can purchase the proper wheels nuts for a 1972 995, it has the 5/8 unf studs with the shoulder on. I have purchased some which in the description said would fit this tractor but when they came they are 6mm shorter in length than the originals so do not accommodate for the sh...

RE: Repainting chassis chocolate brown

try to get as much of the old paint off as possible, I then steam clean the whole skid unit and leave to dry for a week or so, when it is dry blow off any dust that has settled on it with an air line. I then use an etching primer first as there is a few different metals on a DB and this sticks to an...

995 pto shaft problem

the pto shaft on my 995 is basically wobbling around, I have took the pto unit off expecting to see a broken bearing but it is fine however the inner race of the tapered roller bearing is not being pushed into the outer race, so that is were the wobbling is coming from. on the shaft I can see the tw...

RE: Grammer seat

when I did mine I ran a die nut down the thread to clean it up, then gave it a good soak in WD40 and it came off really easy.

hope this helps
