Loader buckets.

Morning all. Got a 996 with a DB loader fitted, but sadly, no bucket. It came with a bale spike that had the tilt/crowd ram above the loader attachment points, and looking at photos on the forum, I see that the tilt crowd ram attaches below the loader arm ends on buckets etc. Could anyone give me a ...

Hi Bam Just looking to do a similar job on my 996. I have got the sekura cab on mine, and as it came from a dairy farm, the tin work is in a bit of a state, the bonnet is a bit worse for wear and the lights/electrics are non existant. I am looking at patching up the cab as best I can, re-doing the l...

Anyone see how much....

That 1212 nose cone went for on e-bay? I thought it would fetch a fair amount, but £681.50. Think I will have to practice my panel beating skills rather than look for a better nose than the one I have got!

I picked it myself you know.

996 Chin piece

Hi all
I am going to restore the bonnet on my 996 in the near future and am missing the chin piece, so I am going to attempt to fabricate one. Would anyone be willing to have a measure and take a photo or 2 so as I can have a go at doing a half tidy job. Many thanks in advance.

Hi all I have got the 996 that I have recently purchased along with a 1955 fordson major E1A. Looks like not many want to admit to owning any thing else but david browns It is the same on the fordson and fergy forums! It is not the done thing to admit to owning something other than a fordson or ferg...

Thanks Scooby and powerrabbit for the replies. Keep my eyes open for a 990/995 then. Had a close run thing with a Leyland last week, but someone beat me to it. If I remember from my ag college days, always cultivate when drying. Never wet, never dry, but drying! Got clay soil, so the rotovator will ...

Running a 5 foot rotovator.

Hi all. Second post on here. I am trying to start a small veg growing enterprise here in Gloucester, and have currently got a 1955 (Don't shout at me! ) fordson major, which is a good old girl, but is sadly lacking in the horse power department. (I think someone left the gate open and a few ...
