Re: Bullet Crimp Size

I would not worry about the solder versions, just buy some shrink wrap tube to go over the fitting, it will never come apart and is sealed so it will never corrode either.

Re: 1490 radiator cap

Re: Electrics

it is quite common for the hydraulic filter light to stay on for a protracted period if the oil is not hot, in fact commonly all day if on light work. This is not an issue just shows the oil is not going through the filter that fast. Ollek is correct that it does show the filter is blocked if the oi...

Re: 4600 selectomatic

That tractor has been heavily modified. The steering system has been converted to power steering as the standard steering is heavy with a loader, although thousands did it. To revert weould I expect mean buying the whole steering set up and before you even think about that, check the bolts holes hav...

Re: 4600 selectomatic

some of these tracts while labelled Selectamatic actually were implematic. There are major differences in them. As others say they should be the petrol ( Gasoline) versions of tractors sold elsewhere with Diesel engines. If it is 3 cylinder as a 4600 it is a 880 model if you can post pictures of the...

I would hardly be concerned about the torque loading of a Tedder. we normally ran the little 780s on the high PTO for that sort of work
