its strange how teh 90 series vary on gear change our 1490 is lovally (full gear box refurb) but a mates is a dog on the gears alot if hours on it which is why note wrong with the 1490 like above quite hapily spend all day in it the cab is very plesent for a tractor of its age

is it mounted or trailed? it will power it no problem we run a 8ft lely on the 1490 and it dosent know its there also use it on a 70hp massey and that runs it fine

power beyond on a db, you are joking arnt you? power beyond only works with closen centre hydraulic systems. about your loader, you could tap into the main feed to the valve chest as it comes out o fthe hydraulic filter at the back of the tractor, you may need a bigger spool on the loader as all of ...

our 880 starts with no heat with 8000 hours on the clock, 1490 need 30 secs, 990 starts straight up but hydraulics wouldn't work so a little bit of anti-freeze in the back end oil fixed that problem.

i have always thought the qd90 loader is a bit of a daft thing to be honest it is very big and bulky and is a bit punishing on a 2wd tractor, we use a gd90 loader with a few modifications on our 1490 and after relocating the spool and making the pins have long handles i can put it on in mins just as...

they are like that alex, its teh same with the 90 and 94 series but with them you have a lever to dump the oil and make em drop quicker, as long as your arms go up and hold theres nothing to wory about

thats a cheep plough you got there, we are after one with bodys on for ploughing grass, these ones for arable land are no good around hear, you have to plough to deep and end up with a week of ************ stone picking
