Andrew , Have you tried ben,s place next to narberth train station, he is a D.B. speacialist , and is constantly breaking all types of D.Bs. He is so friendly and i guarantee he can help you.

hold valve

71 990 selecto Hi all , any tips on getting the hold valve out under the dump valve , long nose pliers worked well on bypass valve , but hold valve is holding fast :( , beginning to wonder if might need a special tool . if hold valve is stuck ,would this be the reason linkage dosent work . many thanx

thats probably cos its someone that uses this forum , but its not me , it would be good to know just what new parts go into reconing this valve chest . 250 quid a lot of money if its just new rubber seals

Nescesity is the mother of invention , If farmers didnt customise thier tractors for thier particular needs , Modern tractors wouldnt be what they are today , and my old 990 wouldnt still be used on my holding today if were not for the scavenged parts from other sources , but its still a DB and mile...

Hi Joe Just looking through some of our members , we seem to be far flung , coming from all parts of the globe , which lessons interest on a local scale for things like meets and runs , especially out here in far west wales , Local clubs out here tend to be mixed marques with very few DBs i may add ...
