Re: Oil from exhaust!

Amazing. Thank you. I feel much happier that it might not be a mechanical disaster!

I’ll let you know how I get on.

Re: Oil from exhaust!

Also, just so I can better understand it, why does light work cause that? As in what’s happening in the engine?

Always learning!

Thanks.

Re: Oil from exhaust!

Hi Guys, Thank you so much for that. That makes me feel like there’s much more to be optimistic about, thank you. It was a light load, just a screw splitter for a while so it wasn’t really doing much work. My instinct is that the clicking and failure to start is electrical and maybe a poor battery c...

Oil from exhaust!

Hi all, It’s been a blooming long time since I posted, life has been busy and my lovely 880 has been out just a few times per year. Had her out today long splitting. Everything was ticking along nicely. Turned her off to shift some stuff, came back and couldn’t get her going again. She was clicking ...

50D

Hi all, It's been a log old time since I posted! Moving and renovating a house, two new jobs, but finally my mind is back with DB! I hope you're all well. Just a pointless Friday question really. What is the deal with the 50D?! There's one on eBay for £35,000. Are they really that desirable/rare? W...

RE: Stub axle bushings wont come out.

If you mean the bearings i used Lots of grease, WD40 and just keep whacking the edge with a blunt object and hammer. I used a blunt chisel with the end flat so there was no damage. I just kept tapping around so it moved evenly.

Thank you for all these replies chaps! It's great to create a good discussion! Andy - I hear what you're saying. I love all 'classic' vehicals, but I have always had a desire for an old Landy. I may get one and the illusion might be spoilt but I'm going to keep looking ; ) I think I'll look out for ...

Well, went to see it... Wasn't too bad, a few bits that were sketchy and no movement on price. There were also some inconsistencies in what he was saying. Alarm bells rang when it turned out not to be at his house but his back street garage... So I'm still looking. Appreciate all the advice as alway...

I think it's a great thing to do and a real recognition for the peoples knowledge and yes effort in replying. People on here are helping because they love DB and wish to share their knowledge! The site never claims to have the definnative answer but to help as best as they can. Having knowledge and ...
