B SERIES

The first B series plough were an ‘open frame’ type with angled ‘cross-bars between the beams and the headstock was constructed of plate steel with a ‘U’ channel headstock strut from the top of the rear of the plates down to the centre of the beams of the plough instead of the bar struts. This plough was the ‘BH’ plough and was supplied as a 12 inch but could be adjusted to either 8 or 10 inch furrow width. Several options of share, coulter, land wheel and mouldboard options were offered. The next in this series of plough to be introduced at around the same time was the ‘BE’
